In the second living room with the corpse laying on the couch, collect the Numbers Translation clue and the RE: RE: RE: RE: Golf Balls Email, Putter, Golfballs, and any resources. Then make your way into the second corridor and enter the second living room. In the first level 1 corridor, look for the dead worker laying on the floor next to blood smears and emails and collect the Scientific Data Email. Then grab any other resources in the room and head back out to the first Level 1 corridor. While still in the first living room, find the computer desk with the ball chair in the back corner and collect the Safe in Cube Email. but be ready with your weapons in case the traps miss their target. You can reset Traps as many times as you like, so re-arm them as much as possible and Keep the Traps between you and the mutants. Using the traps and the doorway to your advantage will help tremendously when killing dangerous mutants, as well as conserve ammo, and make an excellent place to fall back on if you are outnumbered in the rooms and levels ahead. However, some mutants will sometimes get stuck in the doorway, making them easy targets (and be sure to skin the dead mutants when the coast is clear for Creepy Armor if you need more protection). You can safely build 1 or 2 Fly Swatter Traps in this room while leaving enough space for you to draw mutants into your traps without setting them off yourself (On Normal Difficulty, your Fly Swatter Traps won't hurt you). On the other side of the gold door, you find yourself on Level 1 of the facility, in a hallway full of dead baby mutants, ice, buckets, yellow pipes, and plants. Once you've saved your game and are ready to proceed, enter the golden door, but tread carefully as there will be many dangerous mutants ahead. You can also rest here if you need to refresh your sleep meter. If you are playing in single-player and it's been a while since your last save, we recommend moving the resource boxes out of the way and building a tent to save your game. This guide will explain everything you need to know about finding the Katana, and how to get many other goodies along the way-like the Gold Mask, Pistol, Putter, Attachments, and many collectibles. ![]() Once you have the Guest Keycard, you'll finally be able to open the security doors at the Residential Bunker. Then once you have the Shovel, you need to dig up the Carl Planter Maintenance Keycard from Maintenance A, so you can retrieve the required Arnold Crand Guest Keycard from the Recreational Bunker. So if you'd like to add this fierce melee weapon to your arsenal, you'll first need the Zipline Rope Gun and Rebreather so you can get the Shovel. The heavy attack can also slice forward or stab downward with limb severing force. The Katana is one of the best ( and coolest ) melee weapons you can find in Sons of the Forest, with its fast attack speed and high damage, it will carve up smaller enemies in a single flurry and is especially deadly if you perform a heavy attack on a vulnerable enemy just after landing a well-timed parry. ![]() The Katana, Gold Mask, and many collectibles are found inside the Residential Bunker.
